Total Solar Eclipse - Bishop Brown's Astronomy Porch Raffle!

Did you know Bishop Brown was a big astronomy enthusiast? Enter our raffle for a chance for you and one other person to watch the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8th, 2024 from Bishop Brown’s 3rd Floor Astronomy Porch at Brownella Cottage!

The Partial Eclipse will begin in Galion, OH at 1:56 p.m. • Totality will begin at 3:11 p.m. • Maximum will begin at 3:13 p.m. • Totality will end at 3:15 p.m. • Partial Eclipse will end at 4:27 p.m.

The winner is welcome to watch the entirety of the Eclipse from 1:50 - 4:30 p.m. from the astronomy porch, however, please be aware there is standing room only on the astronomy porch!

Maximum capacity for the porch is two people - no exceptions!

The drawing will take place on Monday, March 25th to give the winner time to make plans for the day!

Brownella Cottage is located at 132 S. Union St. Galion, OH.
