History Tours November 2020

Step back in time 130 years – as you take a history tour of Brownella Cottage (1887)!

The house is filled with the original belongings of its only owners – Bishop William Montgomery Brown and his wife Ella. Learn about the architecture of the home, life in the Victorian Era, and the history of Bishop Brown and how he became the first person convicted of “Heresy” since the European Reformation. Tours are $5 a person and all funds go to the preservation of the Cottage and Galion’s History.

Ticketing: You will not receive a physical ticket. Your purchase is your reservation for the tour date/time selected. Please keep your PayPal receipt as proof of purchase.

Due to COVID: Spaces for tours are limited. We ask that you wear a mask for the duration of the tour. Hand sanitizing stations are set up throughout the house. We appreciate your understanding as we work to reopen safely!

Parking: Tour guests can park across the street from Brownella Cottage in the parking lot of the Historic Grace Church.
